Saying sorry is often one of the hardest things to say. Especially when you are in this line of work. Especially if you have just broken the clients £5000 vase that has been in the family for 5 generations.
Just remember to keep it professional and humane. The moment you realize you have made a mistake or miscalculated something, pass this information on to the client. Communicate communicate!!. One thing to remember no matter how much insurance you have to cover a clients belongings you will never be able to replace the sentimental values attached to these items.
As movers if you realize you have made a mistake please don't just jump in your lorry and drive away. but be prepared to offer a alternative solution,make the client see you are doing your best to correct the mistake or misunderstanding.
As Clients please be aware that if you dnt officially notify your mover of any damage to your items within 7 days of delivery,you may not be able to make a claim. Again communicate,communicate !!!
